What is Authentic Social Marketing on the Internet today?
Posted on June 9th, 2009 in Authentic | 2 Comments »
The hardest or most difficult thing about getting started with a business on the Internet is trying to discern what is real or Authentic. I went from being one of those typical people who only used the internet to check my email and maybe look at a few sites of interest to digging way deep to find the answers to my concerns of starting a business on the internet. Boy, talk about enlightening. Be careful when you put a query into Google and then begin clicking on the links, you will get immersed for months trying to figure out a single definitive, when one does not exist. In my search I finally realized that I needed to narrow down or filter out everything that was not Authentic …
I wasted hours reading way too many Internet Sales Pages or Squeeze pages as I now understand them to be. In my reading however, something good came which was learning that there are real people doing real business on the Internet. Through my meeting with Matthew Bredel I was able to learn about Jeff Walker who is the Product Launch Formula GURU. At the time I had purchased that program I naively believed that IT was all I would need to Launch a business online. That of course was only partly true. I found I had purchased a very valueable program that was too advanced for me to even begin doing business online (YET)…
The great thing about Jeff Walker’s PLF 2.0 (that I purchased in 2008) is that he keeps his finger on the pulse of what is going on within the internet marketing World and keeps you as a PLF member updated as well. I was honored to have met Jeff Walker at Mass Control 2 in San Diego this year and to listen to him speak at the conference. This man is so passionate about his work and his knowledge of Product Launching is the ultimate in Authority. I know without a doubt that I purchased the best of the best with regard to Launches and that it will always be there for me to utilize.
Most Sincerely,
Tanya Chadwick

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Tanya! There is SO MUCH out there today that I know it is tough to distinguish which products are worth buying or not. But, as you know because I beat you over the head about this on a weekly basis, each one of these products can take you in a different direction. It is your job to find “that perfect strategy for you”, take it and run with it.
Tomorrow will bring yet another “must-have” money making program and too many of us, including myself, find ourselves chasing out tails.
PLF is a great one, though. cheers…matt
Hi, I found you on Twitter and noticed you did not follow me back (which is fine) but perhaps we can connect on friendfeed instead. I am a little bit jealous that you got to go to Mass Control 2. I have also been trying to AVOID making IM related purchases, except if I can use online earnings to finance those purchases (rather than out of pocket), thereby “bootstrapping” myself up, instead of shelling out tons of cash. Frank is VERY enticing; unfortunately I don’t have $2000. The other person I wanted to study with was Jeff Johnson. But I haven’t made the decision to buy yet. I have not had the pleasure of meeting Matt, nor had I heard of PLF before your blog entry here. Any advice? How did you and Matt meet?
A little about myself, I am a designer and have dabbled in MLM and IM for about 5 years but have never found anything that I was able to use to make the money I desired. I think a lot of that came from holding on to the losing programs too long, in my attempt to prove my dedication. I am doing 30DC again this year though, and am always interested in networking with others of the same mindset. Good luck in 2009, and I hope we get a chance to chat sometime.
